Delete your GarageCheck: Drivers account

In the app

Open GarageCheck: Drivers, tap the account icon at the top of the home screen, then Delete account. It happens straight away.

Without the app

Email garagecheckhq@gmail.com from the Google account you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my GarageCheck: Drivers account". We will confirm and complete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your sign-in.
Your saved cars, with their MOT and tax dates.
The count of how many cars you looked up each day.
Your reminders on the phone (when you delete in the app).

What is kept

MOT results we fetched from DVSA are kept for up to 6 hours so the next lookup of the same car is faster. They do not record who looked the car up.

Deleting your Drivers account does not delete a GarageCheck garage account, or any records a garage holds about you.
