Delete your GarageCheck account

How to ask

Email garagecheckhq@gmail.com from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject "Delete my GarageCheck account". We will confirm and complete it within 30 days.

If you own a garage, tell us whether you also want the garage closed. A garage must be closed, or handed to another owner, before its owner's account can be deleted.

What is deleted

Your sign-in, name, date of birth, role and garage memberships.
If a garage is closed: after a 14-day period to change your mind, all its customers, vehicles, inspections, photos and staff access.

What is kept

Records you created for a garage you do not own (for example your name as technician on an inspection) belong to that garage and stay with it.
Billing records for 6 years, for tax law.
A short record that the deletion happened, and of free trials used, for 2 years.

Copies already on phones, exported PDFs, emailed reports and backups are not deleted by us.
